PJ Library Jewish Bedtime Stories

PJ Library in Upper Fairfield County is thrilled to send families with children 6 months to 8 years a free book each month from January through November and a free music CD in December.

PJ Library shares the best of Jewish tradition—ethics, values, culture, heritage, and rituals—in a way that is accessible, adaptable, and above all, fun.

With PJ Library, we provide warm moments for families to share Jewish values and traditions through books and music, while helping to build the Jewish leaders of tomorrow.

Beyond the books and CDs, we are here to help you connect with other families through local events. Our monthly e-newsletter, which you will automatically receive once you sign up for PJ Library, includes a list of upcoming programs in your neighborhood, and we post regular event updates on our Facebook page! We want to provide you experiences that promote community, are meaningful, and engage parents, children, grandparents and caretakers. Our programming is for any family raising Jewish children -- affiliated, unaffiliated, interfaith, or non-traditional.

PJ Our Way is the next chapter of PJ Library for kids ages 9-12. It is available free of charge throughout the U.S. and Canada to families raising Jewish children. Every month, kids can choose the book they want to receive. Kids can also submit reviews and videos about the books!

PJ Library in Upper Fairfield County is a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and the Federation for Jewish Philanthropy of Upper Fairfield County

As a Federation, our goal is to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive Jewish community, now and for the future.

Join us as we galvanize volunteers and resources: to improve the quality of life for those in need here and abroad, to inspire Jewish life and identity, and to build Jewish connections and continuity. Whether you connect through a love of Israel or a love of learning, through social action or social events, you are a valued member of our Jewish community and we are delighted to welcome you!
